When does my baby girl going to sleep all through the night? Hum that’s really a good question to ask but to be honest, I don’t know the answer. She’s now 8 month old and still wakes up a lot at night, which makes me, tired all day long.

Feeding Ducks In The Park

It is so nice to have a park close to where we live which is only 2 minutes drive. Aside from the slides, swings and other play area in the park, they also have a man made lake where people can feed ducks, doves and birds. Abigail surely enjoy what see's around her especially when she was able to get close to the ducks like in the picture below.

At Grapevine Mills Mall

Pictures below was taken last January 13, 2010 after my biometrics. For some reason, my first biometrics last October was expired. We receive a letter that says my previous biometrics was expired and that I need to do a new one on a certain date and time. I can't figure out how it expired when it was just done two months ago. We don't understand it but we decided not to raise question either. It is better to just take another biometrics than challenge the people behind it.

Anyway, the baby and I had fun that day as hubby dropped us to Grapevine Mills Mall before going back to his work. We went from one store to another and stayed in the Rainforest Cafe and took pictures when Daddy got off from work.

Bad Weather Causes So Much Wrecked

The weather this past few days here in Texas is really bad that causes so much wrecked as most people are not use to driving on sleeky road. As the weather gets colder, the more sleeky the road is especially when it snowed/snowing. I know that accidents happen anytime anywhere but when you are driving, your life is always in danger no matter how careful you are.

Loving Yourself Is Important

How can we stop or avoid eating delicious food if we always see it on our household? Chocolates, cakes, cookies and other pastries are just one of the most tempting high sugar and fatty food that’s really hard to avoid. I know it is frustrating but once you get into a habit of eating healthy and staying fit, those foods simply don’t look appetizing anymore.

It has been over seven months since I gave birth of little princess and yet I still have the fats I got when I was pregnant. I guess it is because I am breast feeding up to now. I love my daughter so much and I will do anything I can for she is my light and my life but I can’t wait for the day she will turn a year old that way I can already wean her from breast feeding to start losing weight. I believe that loving and pampering oneself is very important in order to have a healthy life.

I can't describe how much I feel when I see my one and only child growing healthy and strong, happy and smiley baby, sweet on her own cute way and have the things she deserves to have despite of the hardship of life... Hay one dramatic mother I am here...

Yes I did save 30 bucks on this shoes. I bought this on clearance sale at Gymboree's store in our mall here. I am really happy I went to that store that day as I love this shoes very much. I bought size 5 so my daughter Abigail can still use it as she gets a little older.

Clearance is the best way to get nice clothing's, shoes and other stuff at a very affordable price. There's no way I can afford a to buy a $36 dollars even though I love nice stuff.

Need To Drive So Bad

Driving is one of the things I need to do here in Texas, as I can’t go to places I want without my husband dropping me off. I still need more practice to be able to get my license. I know that driving takes a lot of courage, patience and most of all, an ability to think what other drivers might do and how to avoid some road circumstances. Just last week, my husband just encountered a terrible accident on his way to his work that almost killed him.

I really wish my parents and two siblings lives closer to us. I miss them so much especially when I am sad and need somebody I can lean on. I still believe that no matter what happened your "family" is the people you can really trust.

Anyway, since I can't go home during this holiday season, I made sure to at least great each of them. I am still happy though as I can see them on web-cam whenever I want or need to. I am also happy that they can at least see or play with my Abigail. I just hope time will come that all of them will meet and hug my daughter, my parents’ only grandchild and my siblings’ only niece.

Despite of being away from my family, I was still able to feel the spirit of Philippine Christmas because I have great and wonderful Filipina friends here. Just like what I feel, they also misses Philippines and got no choice but send postcard to their family and friends.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my beloved mama and papa, manang and manoy and to all my friends. No matter where you are in the world, I hope you keep me in your heart and prayers!

It is such a mixed feeling every time I see something new on Abigail. Of course I am a very happy Mom but sometimes I can't stop the feeling of being saddened of how fast she's growing. She wasn’t the tiny baby I first held in the hospital anymore. Hay time really flies so fast.

Anyway, as Abigail woke up yesterday, she gave me one of her sweetest smile and that’s how I saw her two top front teeth which make her have four teeth including the two lower teeth. I can't wait to see it growing more... So weird as I used to her smile without teeth hehehe.

Loving Baby Prunes and Prune Juice

Here's my little princess! My dearest prune juice lover. I never heard nor see anybody who loves prune juice at all. Me myself was disgusted when I first try it during my pregnancy with Abigail but after few days of drinking it, my taste buds begun to love it.

Does Being "Nice" Is Unhealthy?

I am 26 years old now and all my life there was only few times where I lost my patience and said something bad out of my anger. It takes so long before I completely get angry and it takes a lot of pain, anger, disappointment and other mixed emotions before I lost the “Nice” of me.

You can never tell nor predict I have bad feelings for you unless I say so or show it. I just grew up with “smile” for everybody even to complete strangers. I even remember a classmate of mine in high school who told me (Annie you just seem to have no problem or any hardship in your life as you always Smile and look happy everyday)…

Where I was when it showers “rudeness” in this world? I don’t have a clue… But things change as you go older. The more experience you have in life, the more you learned. As I always believe, Life is a process of learning; it is a matter of “Choice” that only YOU who can decide on what to do NEXT… I understand the word “Failure” but it would only applies if you think of it, allow it make you so miserable and/or embrace it. I strongly believed that there's “HOPE”, and “Being Positive”. You will “LEARN” in every single thing you do or done in your life…

Back to “Being Nice”, I am tired and sick of it. I’ve learned my lesson, as people tend to abused you when you are always “Nice”… they treat you for granted and forget to even consider what you feel or might feel… In people’s mind it is OK to do this or say this because “She Is Nice”…

I used to have difficulty of saying the word "No" to people. Before I say or do anything to somebody, I always consider what he or she is going to feel… but I realized how bad it is for myself. It is becoming unhealthy that makes me sick, tired, stressful and gets headaches thinking of so many things.

I found out I am right that “Being Nice” is really unhealthy. According to Dr. Vicki Rackner, author of “The Personal Health Journal”, being “NICE” can be hazardous to your health as it erodes your health and impairs your ability to get better if you’re sick”.

She said that "Trying to avoid or ignore conflict and anger is like trying to hold a beach ball under water. Unexpressed feelings can pop up as physical ailments, such as heartburn or depression or back pain".

The term she used is “People-Pleasers”. I hate it but I think I am in this category… but good thing about me is I am aware of it, learned from it and most importantly I am open of “Change” as a matter of fact, I’ve learned to say NO…

I’ve been through a lot and I can say it really changed me as a person (big time). I have been tired and sick of so many things just because of being “NICE”.

I promised to take care and love myself First. I need to enjoy my life, be true to myself and be happy. I am doing all of this not only for myself but also for my little angel who inspire me so much since the day I found out I was pregnant.

Had A Long Sleep

Wow I can't believe my daughter sleep 8 hours with out waking up or crying. My body is already used to waking up every two hours so I checked her often last night and I was so amazed that she didn't wake up to eat. I am not sure if it is because of the sweet peas baby food I gave her last night that she likes or it is because I removed the front side of her bumper pads that made her see us in our bed. Humm I am so curios to know but it doesn't really matter whatever reason is for what's important to me is she's learning to sleep better and longer.

Being a first mom is really exciting. Of course it can be frustrating sometimes but I try my best not to put too much negative emotions and instead enjoy every bit of it, as it won’t be the same forever. It’s been six months and six days since I gave birth and I can’t believe how fast the time flies hence the reason why I am so determined to just simply enjoy the time I have with my baby girl.

Anyway, one of the things I do with my baby is reading her book and her alphabet match flash cards. I continuously search different approach that I can use to help my baby in developing her skills. I found a better approach that will help her read, write and spell when time comes she’s ready to do so.

Abigail is now 27th week old. I read her horoscope this morning and it said that the full moon in Gemini will shine brightly on December 1 which will affect the feel of the whole week. Hum what's that it mean? heehhe...
