Abigail was born healthy and has always been that’s why it’s hard for me to see her refusing to eat and drink even the soft-drinks that she always asked her daddy to share with her.

The other day, it broke my heart when she asked me not to leave her because she is sick. I was close to calling in because I can’t stand seeing her hurting and not eating. She always love to eat and she tried a while this morning but she just end up vomiting. But since the husband gets off early and my sister is fine watching her, I just went ahead and drive to work.

I was thinking of her so much and was worried the whole time I was at work especially when hubby told me they were at the doctor’s office when I called during my break.

And when I got off work and was waiting for skylink I called and I heard her crying in the background and was wanting mommy because she was on pain.

And as I got home, she gave a big hug and said “Mommy you left me, you went to work I am sick, I don’t feel good”… Oh my baby girl, how I wish I don’t have to work.

If there’s something I don’t like about grocery shopping, it’s when my daughter starts getting cranky while mommy is busy thinking and shopping for stuff we need. But I completely understand especially when she’s tired, sleepy and/or hungry. Sometimes she just gets tired or  bored when I stay so long roaming around looking for good deals.

Besides it’s truly hard for a two year old to comprehend mommy’s “No” when she sees all the good stuff around her…from toys, chocolates etc. That’s why I always like to have a companion when I go grocery shopping that way my daughter have somebody who can entertain her when I get busy.

But guess what? I went with my daughter the other day at Walmart and I was kinda hesitant to do it as it was our first time to go grocery shopping by ourself as we always have her daddy or mama Irish with us but since her Mama Irish is  already working, we won’t have anybody but us.
I know she would be ok with mommy as she was so excited to go out , she was well fed and energetic when we left the house. And I also had a back-up plan in case she gets cranky.

But as you can see in the pictures attached above, my little shopper was perfectly happy, content and well behaved the whole time mommy and her was at the grocery store. I was so proud of her that she understood mommy’s situation and became so cooperative with me as I shop around.

It felt like this day would never come, but our little baby girl finally arrived in this world! I’m so excited for her to meet all of our loved ones. We live across the country from most of them so my parents and lots of other relatives will be making trips out to see us very soon. Right now we’re just enjoying being new parents and taking it all in.

But we also have a few housekeeping things that we need to get done right away. One is sending out an official birth announcement to everyone. But lately, she was really eager to help so we did let wash small dirty dishes like her plate, cups, spoon and fork. And just like expected she made a mess on the floor and on the counter.

But look at that face below, she was so happy and had a blast washing her dishes for an hour or so. She was so proud of her herself and I think she washed it good enough knowing she’s only 2 years old.All I can say I am proud how eager she is to learn things. One day she will be able to wash our dishes really good.
