ESPN First Take is My First Place Finish

ESPN First Take on ESPN2 and ESPNHD is my favorite show on my favorite sports network. The number one watched sports network watched in the world is easily ESPN but I prefer ESPN2 seeing as it shows a lot more variety of shows besides Sportscenter all day. My personal favorite reason I watch ESPN2 is because of the show First Take (formerly known as Cold Pizza). They have many different personalities like Skip Bayless and Jay Crawford, who are able to show different sides of every story or play with their own opinions.

Making it a more exciting and interesting sports viewing show. It’s also a very much laid back set where you can tell they area all having fun while filming, making watching just as fun. They always are able to get good pro athletes to show up for interviews and are able to make them feel comfortable as they are welcomed on the show. Also, featured on ESPN2 is the Mike and Mike Show, which is a radio show that is able to get into all the deep details of all the sports around the nation. Both Mike’s on the show have a very in depth view of almost all sports and are able to entertain and inform at the same time. They don’t usually get the best of pro athletes to interview but they always have the inside information that the sports population is looking for.

ESPN2 is just simply the best sports network on satalite tv with all the different shows and entertainment they provide.

>Mommy I’m Sleepy

>It is so cute when my daughter told me “Mommy I’m sleepy”… I love her so so much that I want to do everything I can just to give her everything she needs and want. She deserve a lot of hugs and kisses for she’s always a good girl to mommy. Yes there are times she’s cranky and stubborn but to me it is just a part of her being a toddler. She doesn’t know how to control her emotions yet and that’s what mommy is her for. Someone to understand and guide her. I love you so much my baby girl!

>Holidays Mean A Lot Of Travel

>While the holiday season might be the most wonderful time of the year, is also the busiest. Over the holidays, my fiancĂ© and I will visit both of our extended families. That means logging a lot of miles in the car. We will travel about an hour to suburbs north of Philadelphia to visit my family on Christmas Eve. Every year we do that. We are joined by my brothers and sister as well as my niece and nephew. After that, we will return home to enjoy the rest of Christmas Eve. The next day, we hop in the car again to visit my fiancĂ©’s parents. That is where we will enjoy Christmas Dinner.

We are also planning a trip to see Penn State play in Tampa on January 1st. We will set our home security alarm (AustinADT SECURITY home systems on December 30th and head to the airport. We should arrive in Tampa early in the evening that day. While there, we will meet up with some friends from college and enjoy the trip down there.

Finally, we return home on January 2nd. All in all, we will travel a good bit during the holidays. With any luck, the events of the holiday season will be as good as they have been in past years. Spending the holidays with friends and family makes all of the traveling worth it.

>A Hobo’s Christmas Gets My Vote

>This film might not be everyone’s favorite, but I just adore A Hobo’s Christmas. Perhaps the reason why it’s my favorite Christmas movie has to do with its star, the macho and handsome Gerald McRaney. He’s best known for Simon and Simon, but this movie is my favorite role of his.

A Hobo’s Christmas gets my vote for favorite Christmas film because it’s about family, and I’m big on family. McRaney is a widower with two young children, and they’re all just finally recovering from the death of the wife and mother. McRaney has a new girlfriend with whom he’s at a crossroads with as well.

The film is more about the reunion that occurs between McRaney and his father, the hobo. Barnard Hughes plays this character, and he does so brilliantly. Out of nowhere, shortly before Christmas, Hughes shows up at the police station where McRaney works. It’s been 15 years since they’ve seen each other, 15 years since Hughes walked away from his wife and son.

The story is about coming together as a family, and it’s about forgiveness. There’s pride in both men that interferes with the reunion.
A Hobo’s Christmas hooked me because it’s a different take on a holiday story. I was so glad to see it again last week on directtv satellite deals, and I recommend it everyone else, too.

>Sweet Baby Around Sweet Candies

>This picture was taken during the time we went to the mall to get our family picture done. It was our first studio family picture. I really love to collect pictures of my daughter as she’s growing so fast.

The Fresh Beat Band Rocks on Cold Days

>Imagine it is a snowy cold day and you are trapped in the house with a two and a four year old. Now imagine that these same two loving children and climbing the walls and need a education, fun and active TV show to distract them. These days and times are why parents are so happy to be able to watch the Fresh Beat Band. This show has singing, dancing and bright colors. It is not long before those two little wall-climbing children are dancing and singing and getting some energy expended.

The best part of having a satellite TV from directstartv.com is that I can record these shows and have them available anytime of the day or night. Children no longer have to settle for what is on TV; they can now watch their favorite shows anytime of the day.

With a cranky cooped up two year old most parents would love to have this availability. There is nothing better than some distraction on days that it is too coldfor outside exercise. For the sake of my sanity, I will be rocking the Fresh Beats on all inside days this winter.

>Clifford The Big Red Dog

>There is no character as endearing as the big loveable red dog named Clifford.
Clifford The Big Red Dog first aired on television in 2000. The show ran until 2003. It was based on a children’s book series. The TV adaptation took Clifford and his friends, both human and animal, on many adventures. Clifford was always getting into trouble because of his size, but always managed to have a positive outcome.

Clifford began his TV debut as a puppy. Because he was the runt of the litter, no one wanted him until Emily Elizabeth Howard chose him for her birthday present. Her love for him caused him to grow. As he grew bigger his family could no longer keep him in the house in the city, so they moved into the country to Birdwell Island.
His world of discovery and learning tought young children about sharing, caring, and respect.

Clifford would alternatively feature an episode with his animal friends, Cleo and T-Bone, and then an episode with Emily, his owner and her friends. The dogs would only speak when humans were not around.
Clifford always came to the aid of anyone in trouble, and because of his size, was able to perform miraculous acts of generosity and bravery.

The Clifford show is still being aired on PBS, and I enjoy watching it on directrtv satellite tv.

>Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Hot Dog Song Lyrics

>My daughter fall in love with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse since the first day she was able to watched the show. Mickey Mouse Club House Hot Dog Song is one of the most popular songs kids love to watch.

Hot dog! (Hot dog)
Hot dog!

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
Now we got ears, it’s time for cheers

Hot dog, hot dog, the problem’s solved
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog

Grab my boots and a sandwich
Let’s start a parade
Get the coconut drum kit
For Daisy to play

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
We’re taking off, we’re dancing now
Hot dog, leapfrog, and holy cow
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
It’s a brand new day
Whatcha waiting for?
Get up, stretch out, stomp on the floor

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggety dog
We’re splitting the scene
We’re full of beans

So long for now from Mickey Mouse (That’s me!)
And the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”

>Rent A Limousine To Enjoy New Year’s Eve

>This year we will be spending New Year’s Eve in a rented limousine. I think that is the greatest idea I have ever heard of. I wish I could take the credit for this one, but I have to confess it came from my mom. We were talking about my plans to ring in the new year and when I told her we were going clubbing she quietly said she wished we would rent a limo instead of taking our vehicles that night.

I mentioned it to a couple of the gang and they started talking it over and said they liked the idea. We checked with some of the limo companies and found out that if we split the bill it would be cheaper for us to rent a limousine than to take our own cars and risk having an accident or winding up with a DUI.

We booked the limo and it will be picking us up at my house. I just hope I don’t forget to set my home security alarm specials ADT Seattle before we leave. I sometimes forget to do that when I have a lot of things going on. Maybe I should write myself a note or set the alarm on my phone to remind me. The thing is, I want to have lots of fun on New Year’s Eve.
