After one month and 4 days here in the world, my little Abigail finally visited her grandparent’s place in Burlesoon where her dad was born and grew up. Below are the picture of her with her grandmother on Daddy’s side…Hopefuly she will be able to meet her Lola Lorna and Lolo Roque soon.

Going To Church With Daddy
It is church time for my baby girl. My husband planned to go to the church today and wanted to bring our Abigail with him so I dressed her up and snap couple of pictures before they headed out of our door. I just hope she will be ok as daddy planned to leave her to the newborn/infant room while he’s attending the mass. So brave for daddy to do it as my baby have never been away from mommy and never likes strangers at all. So let’s see what’s going to happen…

>Progress
>I am so happy with my baby’s progress. She sleeps more than 2 hours now which means I also get more than 2 hours sleep. I absolutely loving it for I really do need lots of rest after having C-section. My doctor sets some restrictions and would give me clearance on the six weeks after my c-section delivery that’s I really need to rest and be careful of what I do to make sure nothing goes wrong while waiting for my clearance from the doctor. Thanks God for hearing my prayers about my baby’s sleeping habit. It’s really good for both of us to get more hours of sleep…

>[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1JEJMm952Y&hl=en&fs=1&]I can’t believe why we waited for a month before using a baby swing. Hubby’s cousin gave us a swing and a bouncer on my baby shower and we just decided to leave it on my MIL’s house because we don’t have storage here in our apartment.
Anyway, my Abigail is really enjoying it as you can see in the video. I bathed her and decided to put her on the swing afterward as I was going to bath too… I was glad she didn’t cry at all in fact she was enjoying looking on the toys hanging on her swing…
Few minutes later, while I was on the shower I saw her sleeping peacefully.

>[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1JEJMm952Y&hl=en&fs=1&]This Fisher Price – Precious Planet Take Along Swing helps me a lot. I love it when I first saw it and love it more when my daughter Abigail slept on it as I can do things around the house.
Good thing about this swing is… its portable plays seven songs and have 5 speeds. I love this as I can put it anywhere I want. When I went to shower, I simply put the Abigail in this swing in front of the bathroom leaving the door open so she can see me. I was surprised she fell asleep just few minutes after I put her in the swing.

I can’t believe it my little baby girl is now a month old. It seems like it was just yesterday I gave birth to a 7.11 baby girl and now she’s a month old and gained more than 2 lbs. Already. 
Baby girl your only a month old why your finger says two hehehe…
Who eat the cake? Of course Abigail ate it through the mommy (‘_’)….

>Every Two Hours
>According to the doctor, the baby needs to be feed every two hours. sounds easy huh but it’s really not especially if you are already enjoying your dream during sleep. But even though it’s tough, the time I spent and going to spend for my daughter will be cherished for the rest of my life. There were time I felt so exhausted for lacking some sleep but after you see your baby smiling at you… it’s all worth it. There’s nothing can beat of such feeling… so wonderful!

Average and Over Average
It’s Abigail’s 2nd pediatrician’s visit. She’s really doing good in fact she gain weight and gets taller since birth. Her Dr. said Abigail’s weight is average and her height is above average. Imagine she’s only 4 weeks old and now weight 9.11 lbs. and 21 1/2 inches tall. Bravo baby girl your doing pretty good…
Aside from her weight and height… Abigail’s hair is growing too hahaha… what a weird looking hair…

>Does Baby Can Understand?
>Last night when we got home from Ate Rose house, my baby and I went to bed and fell asleep right away. We both woke up about pass 10pm and went to the living as the Dad is about to go to sleep in the bed (baby and I sleep in the living room). I breastfeed my baby while checking farm town online.
The baby fall asleep when she got full and so I put her on the floor where I piled a comforter for us to sleep the rest of the night and will eventually moved to bed when hubby goes to work. About 30 minutes later or so, the baby cried and so I tried to make her go back to sleep but she didn’t stop crying so I got her and rack her in the recliner. She fell asleep again and so I put her again on the comforter but cried again after few minutes so I just decided to held her while doing some stuff online. She slept and woke up again as I tried to go to sleep on the floor with her… story goes on and on…
From midnight up to pass 4 o’clock in the morning, the baby is still wide awake for some reason. She’s feed and cleaned so I can’t figure out why she’s still awake… (maybe because she already had enough sleep?)…But anyway, about pass 4, her dad took her until it was time for him to get ready to work…After few minutes of sleep, I woke up and heard my baby crying on her Play Gym as the music turns off and her daddy was on the shower.
I was absolutely mad when my husband told me that tonight, Abigail should go to her bed once she’s feed and cleaned up no matter how much she cries. As he said, his other kids will be here and Abigail should not let everybody awake with her crying etc etc… and that we should put her on her crib, let her cry even up to 2 hours if we need to… 2 hours??? Nagpintig tainga ko eh wala pa naman akong tulog? Aba na high blood ang lola at kumulo dugo ko…
I got Abigail, breastfeed her and completely ignore my husband’s rant until he left… I had a long talk with my baby and told her that she should help mommy because we have no Lola, lolo, Tita Irish and Tito Mark here that can help us… I told her that both of us should help each other because if mommy got no sleep and will get sick… no body will take care of here the way I do…
And gosh after that long talk, after breastfeeding… she fell asleep so I laid down in the couch with her… and surely sleep from about pass 6 in the morning to 11:38 AM… that was about 4 to 5 hours sleep… Actually I woke first before she does… maybe about 20 to 30 minutes…
She’s really being good today in fact, she’s sleeping in the playpen right now for more than 30 minutes already…

>Being Swaddled

Like all babies, Abigail was also being swaddled during our whole stay in the maternity wings in Harris Hospital but when we got home, we hardly swaddle her until on her three weeks old where her sleeping habit was changed. Before, she used to sleeps for about 3 to 4 hours with out me holding or being closed to her. But for some reason her sleeping habit has changed.
Now most of the time, she won’t sleep without being held or with out me lying down on her side. She cries after 5 to 10 minutes I put her on her crib and so I decided to buy her a Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe Set… hopefully this thing would really helps…
