When hubby and I went to the store to get the book his doctor told him to get, I spotted this “My First Read and Learn Bible”. I opened it and love it right away so with out any hesitation, I told hubby I want to get this as Abigail’s first book. I hope this would be the first book she will read once she learns to talk in the future.
I really love this book because I can start reading a bible to Abigail while she’s still in my womb. Actually I started reading for her when I was only 26 weeks pregnant where she can already hear me but it was different because it was my Pregnancy book that I was reading to her.
Hopefully daddy will read this book for her too. Maybe tonight before daddy go to sleep.
From what I’ve heard, reading books while the baby still inside the womb is one of the best thing a mom should do. It said that reading aloud to your baby is an important form of stimulation and a wonderful shared activity you can continue for years to come.
Here’s the benefits of reading aloud for your baby:
* teaches a baby about communication.
* introduces concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes in a fun way
* builds listening, memory, and vocabulary skills
* gives babies information about the world around them
